Hands down the best lunch spot in Malta. Seriously, ditch Subway. This place is the real deal. The subs are so packed and meaty, you'll need a forklift to carry them out. And the staff are absolute legends. Super welcoming, always cracking jokes, especially Kevin and Alex. They make you feel like a regular every time, even if it's your first visit. Also, as a Brit, I’m thrilled they stock some top-tier UK chocolate, plus other European goodies you must try. If you've never had one, get a crunchie, they're well good!!

Got 2 Italian subs, awesome flavor, generous on the meat and cheese, though we felt it needed a little more oil and vinegar. They are very fairly priced. Bottom line we will be getting subs from here again!!

Fantastic deli!! I love macaroni salad and as a single person it's not cost effective to make my own. This is hands down the best in the area!! Just the basics with the right amount of seasoning and mayo..... The homemade sausage is fantastic as well. Great staff, friendly and efficient!

If I wasn't so full, I could eat another two of these right now. Surprised I never reviewed Pellegrino before, as I know I've been here in the past, but that just gives me all that better the excuse to come back. Ordered over the phone ahead of time, going with two footlong subs, one hot and one cold. The Chicken Cutlet Parm and a Honey Maple Turkey with Smoked Gouda and Honey Mustard. Only coming to a bit over $25, which for the sheer heft of these torpedos is more than acceptable. Both were wrapped up nice and snug, meaning when I got home the hot sub was still warm and the cold sub was still chilled. The chicken cutlet was simply amazing, so simple, and the first sandwich to be devoured. Soft but not soggy Italian bread, tender and savory breaded chicken, tangy red sauce and a lovely amount of cheese. I know I was hungry, but this was a true "finally, some good food" moment. Now I only got through half of the turkey, but that is only because I was already pretty full from the chicken. The sweet turkey which was liberally pilled up on this sub, contrasted with the smokey and rich gouda, and then blended together with the mild spice from the mustard. Same Italian bread, however the lack of heat meant this loaf retained more rigidness. And my choice of lettuce and onion made a refreshing bed at the bottom, keeping tabs on the meaty layer above. It might have been a good thing I hadn't reviewed before as I do not believe the pasta dinner I had prior was nearly as good as these subs. A full hop skip and jump ahead of Subway or Jersey Mike's. Full marks.

Generous servings and high quality ingredients. The cold subs are excellent. The 6 inch is technically about 10 inches! The bread they use is awesome. Very fresh, and you can taste it. The owner of my company treated us the other day to lunch and he said this place was awesome. He was correct. I would eat here again in a heartbeat. Kind of "meh" places in Malta, this isn't one of them. A bit busy at lunch but if you go a few minutes early not too bad, and definitely worth the wait! They have amazing cookies and snacks inside as well!

I went to Pellegrino's in Malta to pick up dinner since it was a long day. Wow! The stuffed peppers were amazing and huge arancini the size of a softballs - stuffed meat and rice coupled with your Grandmother’s touch, the best!! Pair with a glass of wine, delicious. Italian cookies are next.
